Basic Specifications

Furnace Chamber Dimensions: 500×300×300 mm

The GWL-VSF series 1700°C vacuum atmosphere box furnace integrates a temperature control system, vacuum furnace chamber, vacuum pump, gas circuit, pressure protection, gas flow control, positive/negative pressure display and water circulation pump into one unit. The water circulation tank and furnace body form an integrated assembly. The furnace lining is fabricated from imported vacuum-molded high-purity alumina lightweight insulating material.

It adopts imported 1800-type molybdenum disilicide heating elements. This dedicated furnace is developed for universities, research institutes, industrial and mining enterprises to sinter, melt, analyze and produce ceramics, metallurgy, electronics, glass, chemicals, machinery, refractory materials, new material products, special materials, building materials, metals, non-metals and other compound materials.

The control panel is equipped with an intelligent temperature regulator, main power switch, heating start/stop buttons, voltmeter, ammeter, computer communication interface, water pump switch, vacuum pump switch, gas flowmeter, positive/negative pressure gauge, electric contact pressure gauge and valves, allowing real-time monitoring of system operating status. The equipment adopts reliable integrated circuits with strong anti-interference performance and stable working conditions. The surface temperature of the furnace shell is ≤40°C at maximum operating temperature, greatly improving the working environment. Controlled by a microcomputer with programmable temperature curves, it supports fully automatic heating and cooling; temperature control parameters and programs can be modified during operation, featuring flexible operation and simple handling.

The entire furnace chamber lining is made of imported vacuum-molded high-purity alumina lightweight material, featuring high service temperature, low heat storage, excellent thermal shock resistance, crack-free and slag-free performance, and superior thermal insulation. Its energy-saving efficiency exceeds 60% compared with traditional furnaces. The double-layer furnace shell with air cooling greatly shortens test cycles thanks to its rational structural design.

Heating Element Replacement Design

A mechanical lifting structure is installed on the sealed top cover of the vacuum furnace. The sealed cover can be lifted and rotated entirely to save labor and maintenance time.

Overpressure Protection System

Prevents hazards caused by closed/blocked exhaust ports and excessive internal pressure. When the electric contact pressure gauge or pressure sensor sends an overpressure signal, the control module closes the air intake solenoid valve, opens the exhaust solenoid valve and triggers an audible-visual alarm to release internal pressure and protect furnace operation.

Gas Leakage Alarm (Optional)

Detects toxic and hazardous atmosphere leakage indoors. If gas concentration exceeds the safety threshold, the system automatically shuts down the furnace, closes the gas intake, opens exhaust and ventilation systems to ensure operational safety.

Refractory Lining Material

Vacuum-molded high-purity alumina lightweight panels; high-purity lightweight alumina hollow sphere boards applied to the furnace bottom (prone to collision during material handling). Low heat storage, thermal shock resistant, crack-free, slag-free and excellent heat preservation; energy efficiency over 80% vs conventional furnaces.

Insulation Layers

Four layers of thermal insulation: alumina fiber cotton, alumina fiber boards and polycrystalline alumina fiber boards; energy-saving efficiency exceeds 80% compared with traditional furnaces.

Safety Protection Functions

Integrated modular control unit with dual-circuit control and dual-circuit protection; safeguards against temperature overshoot/undershoot, thermocouple breakage, phase loss, overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature and abnormal current feedback, with soft start function.

Control Mode

Closed-loop thyristor module trigger control (phase-shift trigger or zero-cross trigger optional) with continuously adjustable output voltage, current and power, supporting constant voltage, constant current or constant power modes. The inner current loop and outer voltage loop limit output current within rated values during sudden load changes or overcurrent to protect heating elements from voltage/current surges, ensuring stable control accuracy and safe operation.

Temperature Curve Programming

Intelligent temperature controller with standard PID, artificial intelligence APID and MPT regulation algorithms, self-tuning and self-learning functions for zero overshoot/undershoot. Supports 30-segment programmable temperature curves with customizable heating/cooling slopes, loop jumps, run/pause/stop commands; programs can be modified during operation. AI curve fitting delivers smooth temperature profiles.

Multi-Curve Storage

Standard 30 segments (customizable to 50 segments): 1 curve with 30/50 segments; 2 curves with 14/28 segments each; 3 curves with 9/15 segments each; 5 curves with 5/9 segments each. Multiple curves can be stored and recalled at will.

Communication Interface

RS485 communication interface with maximum transmission distance of 1700 meters. Enables remote furnace control via computer: start, pause, stop, temperature curve editing, parameter configuration and data reading. The PC software displays measured value, set value, output value, segment time, segment number, temperature curve and power percentage curve. All temperature profiles can be stored, modified and recalled freely. Historical curves and reports support recording intervals from 1 second to 1 hour for long-term data storage (refer to dedicated PC control software for details).
